Leife is an Aurealis Award-winning short fiction writer, and her debut novel, The Beast’s Heart, was published by Hodder & Stoughton in May 2018. Leife has been actively involved in Australia’s SFF community for over 10 years, including 2 years as the president of the Canberra Speculative Fiction Guild. She’s been involved in running festivals and conventions for more than 5 years now, including 3 years as the chair of Conflux in Canberra.
